Free Up Space On My Phone

Photos and videos that have been backed up to Monument can be deleted from your iOS or Android device to create more free space. All of the content will still be available in the Monument app and the original files can be downloaded as well.

Note: iPhone Settings > Monument app > Photos > Read and write must be selected.

  1. Go to Settings > Free up space on my phone

  2. Monument will search for backed up photos and videos


  3. Click Remove


  4. Click Delete


  5. Monument will start to delete content


  6. For iOS users, please go to your Recently Deleted album on the device to permanently delete
