Back up from Apple Photos/iCloud

There are several ways to back up your iCloud to Monument. The preferred and easiest way is to use the Monument App on your iPhone. If you do not have an iPhone, you can also back up using the desktop app.

  1. Sign in with your Apple ID


  2. Open Photos app

  3. Select all photos (Keyboard: Command + A)


  4. Click File > Export > Export Unmodified Original For X Items


  5. Select export


  6. Select download location

  7. Export will finish
    • All photos and videos from your iCloud will be saved in their original quality (if you have enough space on your hard drive)

  8. Select the exported folder in the Monument desktop app
